Pedal to End Cancer March 6th 

The American Cancer Society’s Pedal to End Cancer is an indoor cycling fund-raising event to benefit the Society’s programs of cancer research, education, advocacy, and services.

About one-third of the cancer deaths that occur in the U.S. each year are due to nutrition and physical activity factors. By quitting or avoiding smoking, maintaining a healthy weight through proper diet and regular physical activity and getting the appropriate prevent care, Americans can significantly reduce their risk of cancer.

 Marathon Night Out March 19th

  Music Bingo! 

 We have a lot of great people here at the studio so when someone is  doing something for a great cause we do everything we can to support  them.  Dan Quinn is running the Boston Marathon for team Hoyt this  year and for a fundraiser he came up with a great of Music Bingo.  The  event will take place at the Great America Pub in North Reading on  Saturday March 19th.  It will take place from 7-10 PM.   Studio 38  Fitness is a sponsor and will also have a table with 10 seats.  If you’re  interested in sitting with us please reserve a spot with Jeff.  The cost  is $25 per person for a seat at our table.

Spring Into Shape March 2nd

Winter is OVER and it’s time to start getting our act back together. Though we’ve had a seasonable mild winter, who couldn’t use a little extra motivation to knock off a few of the winter LBS?  On March 2nd we’ll begin our quest to get spring ready so we can break out the tank tops with confidence.  This program will encourage the participants to set realistic goals for six and them guidance so they can attain those goals.  We’ll focus on 7 basic principles that when followed honestly only lead to success.

Spring Half Marathon Training Starts March 13th 

Each year the Studio trains and runs in spring half marathon and this year the race will be on May 29th. The run is called the Boston’s Run to Remember and it is one of the most unique half marathons you could ever participate in.  Here is a little from their web site.

The Boston Police Department and Boston Police Runner’s Club invite you to the 12th running of Boston’s Run To Remember on Sunday, May 29, 2016.  Boston’s Run To Remember is a half marathon or 5 mile run through historic downtown Boston. Number pick up and Sports and Fitness expo is Saturday May 28th. The race start and the Expo will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston.

Honor all 1st Responders killed in the line of duty by celebrating their lives and giving back to the community.

Fun St. Patrick’s Road Race 5k,

Start of our half marathon training

The Rás na hÉireann U.S.A. 5Km “The Race of Ireland & U.S.A.” taking place on March 13th in Somerville, Massachusetts is honoring Irelands 100th anniversary of the  Easter Rising and its Declaration of Independence with these tee shirts and finisher medal “bottle opener” to all who start & finish the race.

Century Club of 2016

Studio 38 Fitness has a ton of great people who deserve to be acknowledged for their hard work and dedication to health and fitness. Starting March 1st and going until December 31st we are starting the Studio 38 Fitness Century Club.   This program is to honor some and motivate others to be active throughout the year and accumulate at least 100 in studio workouts by the end of 2016.   If you do the math is comes out to 10 workouts a month for 10 months.  Absolutely, without a doubt, an attainable goal.  This may be the program for you if you need a little motivation to stay active.   Sign up with Jeff to be included in program specials and add ons!!

Personal Training Referral Bonus

Do you know someone who’s been talking about or you think would benefit from personal training?  From now until the end of March well be “Giving Back” to anyone who refers someone to the studio for personal training.  Refer someone who trains once a week and receive $50, if they train 2-3 times per week you’ll receive $100.  Easy $$$.
