Studio 38 Fitness Welcomes Brienne Thibodeau to Our Staff

Brienne has led an active lifestyle since swimming competitively in high school.  She began spinning to keep up endurance during the off-season and soon couldn’t get enough of it.  After taking classes for several years, she got trained through Mad Dogg Athletics in 2009 and has been teaching spin ever since.

Brienne attended college at Wheelock, earning a degree in Human Development and Early Childhood Education.  She spent her out-of-class time teaching at Boston Sports Club and Simmons College almost every day, where she gained her confidence as an instructor and developed her own teaching identity. Brienne’s classes move with the music and challenge participants to get out of their comfort zones.  Her playlists are upbeat and carefully crafted to match the ride.

Brienne is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and English Language Learning while working as a kindergarten teacher.  With such a busy schedule, she often retreats to her yoga mat to unwind and recharge. Brienne is training to be a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and teaches a vinysasa style class at Boston-based gyms.
