So, every once in a while you come across something that makes you laugh out loud and it’s not because it’s necessarily funny but because of how true it is. I can certify that I’ve heard EVERY one of these statements over…. and over… and over…. for the last 17 years. You guys, especially if you’re a trainer or have ever trained, have to watch this video. The only negative thing I can say about it is that I’m pissed I didn’t make it first…. I’m going to begin my list of things he left out.
I never, ever, ever, ever eat cheese. I swear. Well, except on the weekends and sometimes at lunch. And it’s so good on a big plate of pasta. I can’t have pasta without it. And just a little ice cream after, with chocolate sauce of course. You can’t have ice cream without chocolate sauce. I mean after all, it has tons of calcium in it. Well, maybe not the chocolate, but you know, it’s so good and it’s only once in a while, you know, every couple days or so.
This video was funny and definitely showed some of the more challenging aspects that a personal trainer must endure on a daily basis. Having worked in the weight loss industry myself, I know how hard it can be to stay positive, motivating and encouraging when clients continue to use every excuse in the book. And then they often blame you when what they’re doing isn’t working…
However, I do have to thank you for continuously pushing me out of my comfort zone so that I am getting the most out of my workouts. And, despite the complaining, you always remain professional and keep me motivated, entertained and engaged. I know how difficult I can be at times during my work out but I do appreciate the work that you do and the fact that you are invested in my overall fitness goals.
i totally held my tongue this morning for fear i would blurt out something ridiculous.
and, I agree with Mariel that you always keep us motivated, entertained and engaged. we all need to be pushed out of our comfort zone to get what we all want. thank you for not letting me off the hook, even though i sometimes quit and lie on the floor.
uh… i’m afraid to comment. too funny.
Too funny! I seriously think we should do our next training session after taking a vow of silence for the entire time. I think we owe you Jeff!
i counted at least a dozen that Heidi yells at you all the time. Glad it was PG rated.
Very Funny. All I have to say is what’s said at the studio stays at the studio!!!

Why do I have the feeling that some of the ones missing will sound very familiar to me?
I stopped counting all of the “sames” and then realized I could add a few…
” It’s Heaaaavy”
🙂
