This week has been great for getting back on track

A lot of the time I get people saying to me “You know, it must be great owning a gym. You can workout all day and never miss a day”. I’m living proof that statement couldn’t be further from the truth.  I, like you guys, have probably 50 tasks that I have to do every day so it’s easy to neglect the one thing you want to do for the things that need to get done.  This week has put my workout back on the top of my priority list.  I’m no longer saying, Yea,, I’ll do it in a few.   By the time “a few” comes around I have so much other stuff to do my workout goes on the back  burner.  This program has been perfect.  Check out my workouts this week:

Monday- 45 minute lift

Tuesday- 2 spinning classes

Wednesday- 35 minute lift

Thursday- 20 minutes of hill work and 10 minutes on the stairs

Friday- Workout of the Week.  Then a 30 minute lift

I cant’ wait for the weekend!…..

Great job! This program is getting everyone back on track. 5:45 spin this morning was a good way to start off the day and get my workout done so I didn’t have to worry about it later on.

Unfortunately, I can’t get a workout in tonight. BUT I feel good about what I’ve done all week and I’m ready to get up tomorrow morning for my 7am workout!

Great job Jeff- impressive! It sounds like its been a great week for lots of people. I struggled today and wasn’t able to get my workout in. I am so bummed about how low my points are today- I am determined to get back on track tomorrow! I did do well with healthy food and I’m blogging so at least its not a 0 day!

This has been a day filled with movement. Ballet barre for 1 hour followed by a 1 1/2 hour dance class, 5 clients and then a ballet class. loved every minute. No alcohol but I did have a few chocolate covered almonds…grrrr. lost points there and even though my take out dinner was healthy, I guess I lost some good points there, too. I guess that’s only a 19 point day.

Hey Jeff—-Happy Saturday! First weekend of the program, weekends are a challenge as we all want to be more social! This will be a good time for me to see how much I can stay on track and still enjoy! There is a beautiful happy medium there!
    Wishing you a great weekend!

Although my points yesterday were low (today may not be much better), this program has made me focus on getting my workouts in (got one in everyday this past week) which feels great!

I found this in a magazine several months ago and liked it so much that I cut it out and put it next to my before picture. It helps to keep me motivated and somewhat on track, even on the weekends.

“There are no overnight solutions to losing weight- it takes time to truly change your lifestyle. To create sustainable eating habits, give yourself the room to make mistakes. Set realistic goals and treat yourself to your favorite foods in moderation.”

Well I had a rough day yesterday as expected…very low points and today won’t be too much better but I was up bright and early this morning to workout and felt great afterwards. Tomorrow is another day and I’ll definitely be back on track.

Hi, I have low points for Friday and Saturday. But I did have great workouts both days! I agree with Jamar…this point system motivates you to work out more.

Great boot camp this morning gentlemen, I hated leaving early… Yesterday was a bad points day but not today and as much as I want that glass of wine I will pass. DAMN POINTS ! Jeff, thank you for the motivation.
