    This playlist really gets me moving and makes me thirsty for more…water!

    As you know, water is crucial to the weight loss process and many people aren’t getting enough on a daily basis. Plus, many substitute other drinks like coffee, sports drinks and soda and think that it counts toward their daily intake when in fact, these beverages will dehydrate you. Most people aren’t getting even the recommended amount which is 32-ounces of water (or two large water bottles, think the Nalgene ones).

    Drinking water is very beneficial. Plus, it helps to fill people up so that they are avoiding sweets, treats and baked goods and keeps them hydrated after a particularly strenuous exercise class or workout of the week.

    I’ve notice that since I am starting this fitness regime today that I go to drive throughs too much…I also will have to refrain from impulsive snacks….here’s to keep up my points!

    Winter Fit is already making a difference for me! I just started last night and today the “points game” was the motivation I needed to get out for a run. This morning I had a case of the blahs and was thinking of skipping it. Then I thought of the points and how much I want that prize in January (watch out Mariel!). Seriously though the big prize is feeling great and anyone who plays wins. I am so glad I went for a run this morning and I know I’ll have a better day because I ran. If you’re not playing it’s not too late to get in on the fun and motivation. We’re only two days in- join us! PS I’d love to hear from those who have done the workout of the week- I’d like to try it at some point this week.

    5:30am came awfully early this morning but I’m glad I had a buddy to train with. Now I’m eating my lunch, albeit late (which I packed and brought from home) because I also taught a spin class at the gym across the street from work at 12:15pm. Hooray for double sessions! Happy Hump Day!
